FLAG ORLAND. away forwardly and Steadied along in close attendance of the pace, moved up when called upon, disposed of KLEIG LIGHT for the lead, drew into a comfortable advantage and was never threatened through the stretch. FLAMING HIGH worked his way up gradually and finished with eood energy. KLEIG LIGHT went well placed the entire trip. FOLD LNDER held on willingly in the closing test. GREY WOLF was unable to engaee the leaders. SMOKY SNYDER was never prominent. SPEED TO SPARE was unable to keep up. ROBERT E. LEE dropped back during the opening quarter. BEAUTY BLEN was in close quarters and was taken up repeatedlv. LEOS GIRL went to the front at once, drew cler, withstood a determined bid from RENRAW when straightening out in the stretch, but was unable to cope with the closing challenge of the winner. RENRAW. well placed, moved up threateningly, but was unable to better his position during ihe final eiehth. PI PHI was unable to reach" the leaders. NAM, reserved back of the pace for the first half, responded gamely when reaching the stretch, readily wore down the leaders and drew out at the end. VALDINA TROTH, reserved closed up, took a short lead in the stretch, but was unable to stave off the closing challenge of the winner. FLIGHT OVER rlosed some ground during the last three sixteenths. LIGHTFOOT LEE. much used in racing with ROMNEY REX, tired. The latter, well placed, was impeded sharply soon after straightening out in the stretch, but was beaten at the time. GAY FLIGHT went forwardly. opened up a good lead and. while holding on well, was unable to cope with the bid of the winner. GOOD LAWYER, impeded when attempting to tome through on the inside at the far turn, was eased bark and sent to the outside, moved op gradually, but was unable to endanger the first two. CHERRY CRUSH closed some ground. FLYING NED was unable to keep pace during the closing drive. WADEDALE was unable to enter into serious contention. ELRAY. prominent from the start, responded eamely when challenged and. while fighting it out determinedly, was not quite good enough. CAYATORTA raced evenly. SON OHAL. under punishment soon after the stait to hold a forward position, was t.ikcn under light restraint when SHADOWS LASS and PEEP SHOW went out to dispute the lead, moved up under strong handling after rounding the far turn and, wearing down the leader a whenreaching the stretch, came out steadily. SHADOWS PASS showed speed from the start, raced PEEP SHOW into submission soon after and, while holding on willingly, was unable to cope with the bid of the winner. WAR RESULT, well placed, moved up to show a sligh lead before reaching the stretch, but was unable to keep pace through the la t three-sixteenths. CELAENO was unable to ieach the leaders. CHANCE CROSS, shuffled back I to last place in the run down the far side of the track, moved up on the inside leaving the back stretch and. finding clear sailing entering the stretch while racing oa the inside, wore down the leaders at the end. GREY SQUIRE was prominently placed from the outset and fought it out stubbornly to the end. RISANDA showed speed in the pacemaking and held on gamelv when challenged. WINNING SMILE, well placed, loomed up threateningly near the stretch, but wa unable to make up an ground during the closing drive.
