Gloriana Scores at Curragh By Special Correspondent. DUBLIN. Ireland. — At the first May meeting at The Curragh, Mrs. H. "Ginger" Wellesley had her silks carried to victory by a particularly smart two-year-old filly. Gloriana, in the five-furlong Loughbrown Maiden Plate. She scored at her leisure over Aga Khans highly regarded and heavily played Shahid. Gloriana is a gray daughter of Sir Walter Raleigh, out of Sweet Fairy, by Milesius, from Riverside Fairy, by Poet Laureate.
