PLUCKY TEDDY, never far back and well handled, went to the front when settled in the stretch and retained his advantage to the finish in spite of drifting out in the last eighth. MISTER BIG, a forward factor throughout, held a clear lead approaching the stretch, but could not withstand the winner during the final quarter. PROSPECT BOY. in hand to the stretch, could not reach the leadcis when hard ureed thereafter. SHERLOCK gave a md effort and had no mishaps. REST AWHILE went evenly. JACODRA was unable to threaten. MUST GO l..ked early speed and was never dangerous. DISSENSION SIR tired badly after racing forw.udK placed] to the stretch. FLYING REIGH was done after the half. SECOND RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. DARBY DELILAH raced in closest pursuit of CUBAN BOMB "to the final eighth, then faltered. AIR PATROL tired after going three-eighths and failed to respond when hard urged dui ine the drive. RED WONDER, slow to begin, made a game bid in the stretch before tiring. CRAMPS IMAGE, racing on the inside and in close quarters throughout, failed to threaten. YALDINA LORIA was never dangerous. KAN went to the front at once, set the pace to the stretch under pressure from NICE ENOUGH, but faltered thereafter. NICE ENOUGH, much used engaging JAY D. KAN during the first hall mile, tired. BLACK SKIMMER, shuffled Lark after the start, came with a tush in the stretch, but could not reach the leaders. MANGO was never ■ serious threat. B1P was done eaily. JO KAPI could not keep up.
