Governor Signs Mutuel Bill Governing Uncashed Tickets ALBANY. N. Y., April 11.— Holders of f winning pari-mutuel tickets must hereafter present them for payment within 90 days after date of purchase in order to get the money to which they are entitled, under a I bill signed today by Gov. Thomas E. Dewey. I After 90 days, unclaimed winnings must be turned over the general fund of the state. , The measure, sponsored by Senator William I j F. Condon of Yonkers, takes effect immediately. At the same time the governor vetoed, without memorandum, the Halowell Bill, 1 which would have permitted holders of winning pari-mutuel tickets to present t them for cashing any time within the year from April 1 of the year following the year in which the ticket was issued.
