Director J. E. Skips Wood BALTIMORE, Md., April 17.— Trainer Harry Baker, who conditions the string of Ella K. Bryson, announced this morning that the good three-year-old Director J. E. would not be sent to New York to compete in the AVood Memorial this week-end but would remain here and possibly make one start before being sent after the Chesapeake Stakes. The caliber of his races in these two events will determine whether or not the son of Sickle — Dead Reckoning will strive for top money in the Kentucky Derby.
