PETES KID. a strong factor from the start, was in close quarters in the diive held on gamely and finished in a dead heat with MAE WATCH. The latter took command on the inside. w„s unable to draw clear, bore over on ALABAMA BOY inside the last eighth and finished well. ALABAMA BOY moved up gamely on the inside, was iorced to take up when in close quarters and failed to recover. CHICK CABIN made up ground. HEFTI HARRIS was closing eamelv when impeded bv THE HUNTRESS. STILL WATER bore out entering the stretch. THE HUNTRESS drifted out and then ducked to the inside when tiring.
