Honor Keeneland Badges At War Relief Meeting Stubs Good for Admission During Six-Day Joint Session at Downs LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 18.— The man- j agements of the Keeneland Race Course and Churchill Downs today announced that identifying cardboard stubs of all badges issued for the current meeting of the former association will be honored throughout the six*-day period of the War Relief and Charity meeting to be held by the two track organizations at the Downs from April 24 to April 29, inclusive. The stubs good for admission during the six-day benefit session cover horsemen, jockeys, press, memberships, employes, stable help and others. Use of the stubs will result in the elimination of an expense and thus add to receipts from which only actual operating costs will be deducted. The week is expected to prove one of the most successful of the many such meetings conducted here and at many other tracks over the country. Since the inauguration of War Relief racing approximately 00,000 has been raised at Churchill Downs. This springs big charity show will feature the ,000 added Lafayette Stakes for two-year-olds, the ,000 added Blue Grass Stakes for three-year-olds and the ,000 added Clark Handicap for three-year-olds and upward. The Lafayette will be run Tuesday, April 25, the Blue Grass on Wednesday, April 26, while the Clark, one of the oldest stakes in the country, will come up for renewal as the feature of the last of the six programs. The Churchill Downs meeting opens on Monday, May 1.
