J 10 ■ * 20 M Cause of Towsers Death BALTIMORE, Md., April 19.— Trainer R "Dick" Pending today refuted a statement made here last week that Towser had died due to a tongue injury. According to Pending, the horse had been worked out on that occasion over the Pimlico strip and following his return to the stable complications arose. This was responsible for the death of the four-year-old son of Bull Dog — Precious.
