, Kentucky Notes KEENELAND at Churchill Downs, Louisville, Ky., April 19. Richard E. Wingfield, trainer of the Circle M Stable, will visit the farm near Lexington on Thursday to inspect the foals and other horses quartered there. George Morris sent Unhampered to Golden Maxim Place this morning to be bred to Hilltown. The four-year-old filly will continue in training. Al J. Plack, veteran turfman, who has been active here for many years, has Light Beam, a three-year-old by Bel Aethel, to campaign for I. C. Mishler. Clifford Lussky, prominent Louisville business executive and owner of the two-year-old Surxtia and Alvan, is a daily visitor at Churchill Downs. Surxtia, a bay son of Big Brand — Rotation, and Alvan, a bay son of Hairan — Dispel, were purchased at the Lexington fall sales. They are being trained by Milton Rieser. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Stellings, prominent LaGrange thoroughbred devotees, will in- troduce their colors during the current season. The Stellings purchased a bay daughter of Sickle and Play Dis at the Lexington fall sales and now named Dis Sickle. She is being conditioned by Harry Trotsek. Dave Hum, who retired from training to take over the management of W. R. Reeds farm in Texas, arrived from his home at Houston in quest of racing material. In search of suitable horses to convert into hunters, M. N. Forter arrived from Lexington and plans on remaining for several days. Sameron and Kokomo arrived here from Oaklawn Park and were unloaded at Douglas Park by R. Lerner. Jockey J. Molbert, who recently was honorably discharged from the Army, demonstrated he had lost none of his riding talent when he piloted W. Campbell Hobsons Di-avolaw to a popular victory in the seventh race Monday. Diavolaw is eligible to the Kentucky Derby. Milton Rieser, who is training Zacapet, Kentucky Derby candidate, received word that his son, Stanley Rieser, former Daily Racing Form employe, is stationed somewhere in the South Pacific.
