Announce 00 Minimum Purse For Meeting at Pascoag Park PASCOAG, R. I., April 19.— Officials of the Pascoag Racing Association today announced a 00 minimum purse during the coming meeting at Pascoag Park. May 20 through July 8. This is the highest minimum in the brief history of the popular half-miler. In addition to the increase in overnight purse money, treasurer B. A. Dario also stated that an 00 feature will be written into the condition book each Saturday by racing secretary Gordon Morrow. A fall meeting at Pascoag Park will follow immediately after the Narragansett Park autumn meeting with 80 days of sport in all provided during the half-mile season. Of further importance to horses shipping to Pascoag Park will be the Fair racing at Marshfield, Brockton and Great Barrington. This will bring the New England racing season for half-mile ovals up to 120 days.
