LADY MAYFLOWER went to the front when ready, displayed good speed in the muddy going and retained her advantage without need of urging. REGULARITY, a keen factor throughout, finished resolutely under punishment, but could not get to the winner, although easily best of the others. MY MARGIE could not better her position when hard ridden through the stretch. LYRICAL, outrun early, could not threaten when set down in the drive. BROKERS TRIP raced wide and tired badly in the final furlong. BULL DOG MISS began fast, but failed to stay after showing early speed. LADY MANDY was outrun. MISS PIETY, on the inside from the beginning, did not appear to like the muddy track. GRACE HY was never dangerous. FLASHAT was far back throughout. FLYING JENNY had early speed. FOULARD worked his way forward steadily on the inside, responded to vigorous handling during the drive and, after disposing of the leaders, won going away. TURKEY FOOT, never far back but racing wide, finished gamely under urging, but was not good enough for the winner. BARTS CHANCE, away fast and forwardly placed from the start, reached the lead in the stretch, but weakened near the finish. VALDINA SECRET could not get to the leaders when set down in the drive. MODEL C. began slowly, but finished fest. JUDY DUNN made the pace to the stretch, then gave way. SNAPPY VERSE held on well to the final furlong, then quit badly. BALLACOLAS tired. JOHNS BIRD was done early. CHIPPOKES never was prominent. Overweight— Turkey Foot, 2 pounds; Valdina Secret, 1; Model C, 2; Ballacolas, 2; Chippokes, 5. Ballacolas claimed by H. Torriente. BLENHARA raced evenly to the stretch, came between horses in the drive and, disposing of the leaders, held RED TORCH safe. The latter, outrun to the stretch, was forced wide on the final turn and finished resolutely when straightened up. CRAZY WHIRL raced evenly and had no mishap. NIECESUE, much used racing MIMSY into defeat, failed to stay in the final furlong. SWEEP PLAY began sluggishly. MIMZY went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch under pressure from NIECESUE, then bore in badly while tiring. CARASANARA was outrun. PAL0MA LINDA raced well to the stretch, then bore out badly, losing all chance. Overweight— Blenhara, 4 pounds; Niecesue, 2; Mimzy, 2; Paloma Linda, 4. For late charts see tomorrows issue
