Field of 14 to Contest Brandywine Handicap DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 31.— The one mile and a sixteenth , Brandywine Handicap drew a bumper crop of fourteen three-year-olds and upward for its ninth running here tomorrow. Neither Polynesian, Brookfield nor Buzfuz, the high-weights among the original list of 71 nominees, accepted the issue, but there are enough talented middle-distance runners among the overnight entries to assure week-end fans of a spirited contest. Under the weight assignment for the 0,000 event, Mrs. Ruth McClanaghans Harford will shoulder top impost of 115 pounds. The rest of the field comprises Greentree Stables Dock-stader, 113; Gustave_Rings Happy Buckie, 113; Hasteville, 113 and Prelect, 110; Christiana Stables Alexis, 112; Megogo, 112 and Service Pilot, 111; K.
