Lextown Drills Mile in 1 A2Vs For Motor City Engagement WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., June 6. — Lextown, owned by Lexbrook Stable, was asked to work a mile this morning by his trainer, Dave Hurn, in preparation for an engagement in the Motor City, to be run at the Detroit Fair Grounds on Saturday. Lextown is scheduled to leave for that course on Wednesday. The three-year-old son of Littletown went the eight furlongs in 1:42%, breezing. Jack Richard, who is slated to handle Lextown in the Motor City, was at the reins in this mornings trial.
