Cardiali and Bailey Injured In Fall in Hollywood Race ARCADIA, Calif., June 6. — Jockeys Sevio Cardiali and Harold Bailey were hurt in a fall that marred the running of the fourth race here Saturday. Cardiali sustained a broken rib and Bailey a fractured collar bone. Both were taken to a hospital for further examination and treatment. Jockey Grant Zufelt and W. Shoemaker figured in the same accident but both were reported to have escaped serious injury. Huon Kid, who was being ridden by Cardiali, was believed to have run on to a horses heels and fell leaving the back-stretch and the others then became involved in the spill. Bailey was aboard Ga-zalo, Zufelt rode Dark Buchan and Shoemaker was handling Alibelle.
