W. M. Cook to Free-Lance FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 6. — Jockey W. M. Cook, who arrived today from New England, will not enter the employ of Charles T. Fishers Dixiana, as reported Saturday from Suffolk Downs. Jockey Robert Lee Baird, contract rider for Dixiana, is to remain with the locally-owned establishment, according to announcement by Jack C. Hodgins, Dixiana trainer. Cook will free lance here and stated that the Suffolk Downs release was wrong.
