Hunter Fined for Scaring Fowl to Death— With Gun RICH -HILL, Mo., May 2 UP. — Conservation agent A. A. Headley says "frightening" geese can run into money. Headley recently stopped an out-season hunter who swore he was only trying to scare some geese. A check of the hunters automobile revealed that he had scared a whitefronted goose -to death with a 12-gauge shotgun.
