Brown Mogul Dead CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 2. — Brown Mogul, a seven-year-old gelded son of Brown King, died at nearby Douglas Park this morning. Brown Mogul was purchased last winter by Felix J. De-Mary, of Orange, Texas, from the Joseph W. Brown establishment and the gelding had been in training here under the supervision of L. H. Veitch. Due to the unusual ailment causing Brown Moguls demise, trainer Veitch ordered veterinarians to conduct a post-mortem, the DeMary thoroughbred appeared to be suffering from poison.
