Delaware Park Stable Area Opened to Receive Horses STANTON, Del., May 2. — Dele ware Parks stable area was opened yesterday to receive thoroughbreds for its forthcoming meeting, opening May 29 and running 32 days until July 4. Superintendent Clarke M. Pardee and his crew of maintenance men completed minor repair work on a number of barns and the fumigation of the 27 bunk-houses for grooms and other stable employees. Racing secretary J. Gilbert Haus and Allan W. Lavin, his assistant, have completed assigning stalls to the owners whose applications have been approved by the stall committee. Requests for stall space this1 year surpass all previous applications in the 14-year history of the track. The main mile racing strip and the five- eighth mile training track, located adjacent to stable area, are ready for horses.
