New Jersey Notes GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 2. M. C. "Happy" Buxton, vice-president of the New Jersey division of the HBPA, and W. E. Charles, Jr., its secretary-treasurer, returned to Garden State Park from New York after attending a meeting of the national organizations board of directors. The pleasant sounding voice that patrons hear over the public address system describing the running of the races here is that of Morris Tobe. The Rhode Island sportscaster is enjoying his second season at this course, beginning with the association last fall. Joseph Marinelli, regarded as a capable rider for some 17 years, is beginning his second season as a trainer of thoroughbreds. Marinelli began his new profession last fall at Bowie and was successful with the first horse he sent postward. The native of Newark, N. J., has only his own Dot Beiltro, whom he brought here from Florida, but expects to obtain a larger public stable.
