FERRY PILOT raced within striking distance of the early leaders, came between horses for the drive and after taking command won drawing away. FIGHTER JACK came out for the drive to be best of the others. WATERCLOCK made the pace until inside the final furlong, then gave way suddenly. NARCISSUS passed tiring horses. BIG INCH was much used engaging for the early lead and had little left MALI JOHNNY was unable to keep .up. HAIR STYLIST lacked speed as usual. EVENING STORY saved ground to no avail.
