Amputees Pay Ball NEW YORK, N. Y., May 2 UP.— For the fourth straight year, president Horace Stoneham of the New York Giants has donated the Polo Grounds to the National Amputation Foundation for its annual baseball game involving amputee veterans of World War II. The game, the main purpose of which is to demonstrate the ability of amputees to hold jobs, will be held on July 19. " ■ 3
