PINE LAKE, far back and outrun to the last three eights, was sent to the outside for the stretch run and, rescinding to mild urging, disposed of tht leaders and won going away. FAUGHABALLA, keen factor from the start entered the stretch with a short lead, continued willingly under urging but was not good enough for the winner, although much the best of the others. HALCYON BLUE raced prominently to the final furlong, then faltered. BROGDEN could not get to the leaders when set down in the drive. MELVIN made a mild bid approaching the stretch, then weakened. JONAGE failed to stay after showing early speed. JUNE AYR was never dangerous. COUNT GOLD was far back throughout. JAY had brief speed. SOUTH WIND was through after a half mile. Scratched— 01116 Sunaway, 110. - Overweight— Halcyon Blue, 3 pounds; Jonage, 1. Attendance, 22,000 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, 38,487.
