Telegram Wins Prix Blangy; Will Start in Epsom Derby PARIS, France, May 15 Reuters. — Francois Dupres English Derby candidate, Telegram, easily won the Prix Blangy over a mile and fiye-eighths at Longchamp here yesterday. Ridden by Roger Poincelet and carrying 115 pounds, Telegram beat Sadi by two and one-half lengths, with the four-year-old Fleury, under 137 pounds, three lengths away in third place. Marcel Boussacs filly, Smanda, who is entered in the English Oaks, finished fourth a heck behind Fleury. Telegram is by Epigram, out of Tornado.- After Telegrams victory, his owner said the colt would run in the Epsom Derby on May 27. He added that no jockey had been yet engaged, but that Gordon Richards had been approached. When contacted in London, Richards said, "I do not yet know what I am going to ride in the Derby."
