KEE DEE broke alertly and immediately attained the rail in the running, saved ground on the turn and responded well tohold sway. BONED UP and FOREVER raced on almost even terms throughout and the former proved most game in the closing drive. FRUITION could not menace the top one, but outfinished HERES RUSTY. The latter raced within striking distance into the stretch, then weakened. BAY CREEK was outrun. SAG SWING had brief speed. KNIGHT ERRANT was a bit green. CUB, slow to settle into stride, could not menace. STEVEN P. raced wide into the stretch. WAR GARB may improve. BEADING tired after showing brief speed. NUMBERS appeared to dislike the going. PEAZY, far back early and forced to circle the entire field, attained command and drew clear to win easily. NIMSY showed speed throughout and held on gamely to outfinish SLUMBERLAND. The latter was under restraint while setting the pace, but tired in the stretch run. HAPPY COUNT moved boldly to loom a threat in the early stretch, then lacked a closing rally. ABBEY trailed for a half mile and closed with a belated rush. IT GIRL could not offer a serious threat DREIST tired, as did WEDGEWOOD. BELLISAN showed nothing. AFLAME, sluggish in the run down the backstreteh, rallied well from the outside and held LADY RIDGEWELL safe. The latter, slow to settle into stride, closed willingly along the inside. TRANSWRACK raced forwardly to the final furlong, then faltered. BONNIE WORLD tired. JUST LIKE MOM showed early speed and quit. MORNING CHIMES was through early. FAIR VISION sprinted into a commanding early lead, was strongly rated to the stretch, then turned back the challenge of ISLAND HOP and again drew clear. The latter responded readily to engage the leader, but was not good enough. MAMALOI tired after racing in the runner-up position to the final bend. DARK GLASSES weakened when set down. RETINTIN was not hurried early, rallied only mildly when placed to pressure, then flattened out in the late stages. SANDLOT trailed throughout and apparently disliked the sloppy going. MINADDIE challenged from the outside, but was not good enough. HY broke sluggishly and, though slow to respond, was making up ground at the finish. STORM BIRD raced with the leaders, but tired. RED NED was badly outdistanced early and could not threaten. CHAFFEE-DEE was through early. ICE CAP flattened out after showing early speed.
