Report Pauh Ebelhardt s Condition Still Serious LEXINGTON, Ky., June 24. — The condition of Paul Ebelhardt, manager of Calumet Farm who was struck by lightning: Saturday, continued to be listed as "serious" at St. Josephs Hospital here this afternoon. Mrs. Margaret Glass, office manager at Calumet, said that Ebelhardt is not unconscious but is in a semi-conscious condition and at times had answered simple questions. He has not undergone surgery, as at first reported. Mrs. Glass added that paralysis, -which had been evident in Ebelhardts left cheek and arm, has shown some signs of improvement. Ebelhardt was struck by a lightning bolt Saturday afternoon on the golf course of the Lexington Country Club. Alfred B. McEwen, professor of law at the University of Kentucky, was killed, and Frank J. Quinn of Lexington, was injured slightly by the same bolt that hit Ebelhardt.
