TWO MARES FOR WEST INDIES. New York, November 2. Goodwin Brothers have purchased at private sale the three-year-old chestnut filly Ruth Howard, by Pessara Nellie Mack and the five-year-old bay mare Pancreatis, by Aloha Panway, for export to Trinidad, West Indies, where they will probably be put in the stud after some racing. Pancreatis first raced as a two-year-old, making twenty-three starts, but only won two of them; the mare won three races out of twenty-four starts as a three-year-old, but did not win a race out of twelve starts .as a four-year-old and did not race this year. Ruth Howard did not race as a two-year-old and has made six starts this year, but was never in the money.
