There are 11 in that group for the week-end mile and a furlong, which is the final one in the series of Kentucky Derby "prelims." Air Sailor, Foreign Agent and Sea Swallow worked for the stake over the "good" surface which obtained here this morning. Sea Swallow, victor in the Tijuana Derby, put in easily the most ambitious move. He went a mile and a furlong in :53, 1:21. 1:4633 and 1:5935, accomplishing the work in handy fashion. Seabiscuits sturdy son once again indicated that he is not what horsemen call "a good work horse but is inclined to loaf, as was his sire. Air Sailor, "the toy bull dog," went six furlongs. Lt. Comdr. Buhls hopeful was clocked a first half mile in :48J5 and the distance in 1:14%, bowling along in a fashion to suggest he retains the dash he exhibited in the Stoney Point. Foreign Agent a stretch-runner with a smattering of class, only breezed five furlongs in 1:08%. Art Roi, the hapless Free for Alls stablemate. breezed over the same ground in :5245, accompanied by a two-year-old. Word was expected momentarily from trainer Bob McGarvey, of Henry Tikulskis Icangetit, that the hard-hitting son ol Stagehand would be sent on from Hawthorne Park for the Derby. The Chicagoan performed creditably to win his debut at six furlongs in 1:1245 on Lincoln-on-Haw - thornes holiday program, going on out a mile in 1:42. taking the overland throughout this public qualifier. Billie Thompson, who was to have had the mount on Free for All in the Blue Grass, will be substituted for Doug Dodson on the probable choice. Burning Dream. Dodson will have the leg up on Pot o Luck for Calumet Farm, to which establishment he is under contract.
