Hoop Jr. Heads West JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., May 31— Trainer Ivan Parke loaded Hoop Jr.. owned by Fred W. Hooper, for Churchill Downs to fulfill his engagement in the Derby. Alexis, owned by the Christiana Stable, will leave on Friday, while Jeep owned by Col. C V. Whitney, will depart on Tuesday. Jeep will be ridden by Arnold Kirkland, while K. Scaw-thorn will be aboard Alexis. Hoop Jr., at the time of shipping was not assigned a rider. Arcaro, who rode him in the second division of the Wood Memorial, was unable to definitely accept the mount. He may remain here for stable engagements on that day, June 9.
