Appointment of W. C. Langley To New York Board Announced ALBANY. N. Y., May 31.— As exclusively reported in Daily Racing Form yesterday, William Clark Langley of Westbury, L. I., New York, has been appointed to the New j York State Racing Commission, to succeed Harold O. Talbott, Jr., who recently re- I signed. Gov. Thomas E. Dewey announced the appointment here today. Langley is president of W. C. Langley and j Company, investment bankers, with offices at 115 Broadway, New York city. He is a I member of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association, chairman of the race committee of the Meadow Brook Long Island; Steeplechase Racing Association and a member of the race committee of the Middlebury Racing Association. About 15 years ago Langley owned and raced a stable of steeplechasers but has no stable at present.
