Baird to Ride Kings Hope CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 9. — Fred Sharpe, trainer of Mrs. Sharpes talented two-year-old Kings Hope, announced that jockey R. L. Baird has been engaged to ride the colt in next Saturdays renewal of the Bashford Manor Stakes.
