Lawrence Learns News Late HELENA, Mont., June 16. Laudy L. Lawrence, the American sportsman whose Le Petit Prince won the rich French Derby at Chantilly Sunday, did not find out until late Monday night that his horse had won the purse of 5,000 and had become Frances leading three-year-old. Lawrence was traveling through here with his wife, son and daughter-in-law when he received the good news.
