Reuter; bred by S. Carrick. IN GATE 2:06. OFF AT 2:06 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. RUSSELL TS was unable to keep up in the first part and was outpaced to the stretch, then came strongly on the outside of MON BAISER to get to the front near the end. The latter moved to pass ROAMING OSCAR after rounding the stretch turn and withstood a bid from RED SHJRT at midstretch, then went well to the end. RED SHIRT saved ground on the last turn and got through a narrow opening on the inside of ROAMING OSCAR to loom as a serious threat, but lacked much finishing strength. ROAMING OSCAR raced clear of the others soon after the start, but tired badly in the final eighth. CULTURE also tired. Scratched 13278 Good Score, 111; 130255 Ocean Queen, 106. TORDAR was badly outrun for half the distance and failed to loom as a contender until the stretch was reached, then came fast on the outside in the last eighth to take command and win going away. HOT CHOCOLATE was fairly well up all the way and held on with good courage in the final drive. MIGHTY NICE-closed with determination in the middle of the track. BOGS PRIDE . was taken back when in close quarters next the rail on the far turn, then saved ground in the stretch. CHICKS DELIGHT was unable to threaten. DOUBLE BARREL was badly outrun. SUNSET STAR went to the front at once and was taken under steadying restraint after opening up on the field, then drew out easily when given free rein in the stretch, arid was in hand coming to the finish. CEBETTE improved her position in the run home to best SWING SHUT. The latter was well up all the way in a good effort. GOOFUS raced up on the outside soon after the start, was prominent to -the last sixteenth, then tired. MACKINAC was badly outrun to the stretch, then made up some ground. KANAWHA was never prominent in a weak effort. CHAMPIONS BOY was required to race wide. JO-CLARE had some early speed. ARMED TRUCE was outrun to the stretch, then came very fast and was up to best DADGUMIT in the last stride. The latter moved strongly nearing the end and barely missed. OUR HINES appeared to be in close quarters on the stretch turn when headed by FREEDOM LANE and DADGUMIT, then worked his way to the front entering the final sixteenth, but ducked to the outside just when it appeared as if he would be the-winner. FREEDOM LANE made a strong move on the outside on the stretch turn and went well to the end. PREDICT was in close quarters after leaving the backstretch and dropped back, then came again on the inside in the stretch, but was in close quarters and required to take up. KING FIDDLE was unable to keep up, but finished fairly well. SKY CAPERS was used up making the pace and weakened. Overweight Dadgumit, 4 pounds; King Fiddle, 2; Sleepy Norma, 1. SECO GIRL was held under restraint close to the pace until the stretch was reached, then gained steadily on the outside to wear down FAITHFUL RING and best him in the drive. The latter got through on the inside of MASTER DEGREE on the backstretch to draw out nearing the stretch turn, then saved ground, seemed to falter when struck with the whip, but held on gamely under hand riding near the end. MASTER. DEGREE raced courageously after being headed. FEATHERTOUCH closed some ground, but was not dangerous. MACHIGONNE dropped back nearing the stretch turn, then passed tiring horses near the end. FLIGHT AGAIN was never far from the pace, and gaining gradually on MIMADA in the stretch, caught her nearing the finish to beat her narrowly under hard urging. MIMADA went to the front early, and being fairly well rated had something left when FLIGHT AGAIN challenged. MISS WHO made up ground and was going well at the finish. SUN DAVID was in reserve in the first half mile, then moved up fast when called upon to easily pass WARLESS in the stretch and win with speed to spare. SMACK-OVER was unable to keep up with the pace, but came steadily through the stretch to be easily second best WARLESS sprinted to the front soon after the start and set a good pace, but faltered when challenged in the stretch. VIXEN FIXIT lacked early speed and passed tiring horses. WABASH MOON was forced to race wide white on the stretch turn. TUONINE tired after going five furlongs. BONSAND was saved for the first seven furlongs, then moved up on the inside to become a strong contender, was taken to the outside of MIDAS TOUCH in the stretch, and finishing strongly, won narrowly. MIDAS TOUCH was sent to the front entering the backstretch and drew out nearing the stretch turn, then saved ground to go strongly to the end and just miss. PENROSE loomed up after entering the stretch, but weakened in the final drive. SWANEES PENNY failed to be a strong contender at any stage. PARTY KING tired. Scratched 19126 Cee-Yuma, 104.
