Switch On Drills Five-Eighths In 1 .01 2 5 for Lincoln Special LINCOLN DOWNS, Lincoln, R. I., May 16, — Switch On, the probable starting high weight at 120 pounds in Mondays 0,000 added Lincoln Special, worked five-eighths in 1:0225 this morning with jockey Jorge Contreras in the irons. Contreras rode the Condiment gelding in his winning effort in last Saturdays New London Handicap but will be astride Rockcastle in the big race. W. J. Beatties Park Dandy, another of the "home" contenders in the Special, was prepped a mile this morning with jockey Warren Lane aboard. Working without blinkers Park Dandy breezed the distance in 1:452,5. Another Special candidate, P. and B. Ciri-onis Double Bid, was also on the Lincoln strip this morning. Double Bid has not as yet been made a definite starter in the rich race but is expected to accept the issue. The Double Jay gelding, who finished second to Switch On in the New London.
