Most Charming in Repeat Triumph at Lincoln Downs LINCOLN DOWNS, Lincoln. R. I., May 16. — Most Charming lived up to her name today by being just that to those in the crowd of 7,439 who supported her at the windows, driving up with a whirlwind finish that saw her take the featured Newport Purse by a nose over Blue Star Farms Flarespur today. It was the second straight victory, and by the same margin, for the five-year-old mare. J. Atteras Bamboo Money, the choice, finished a half length back in third place. Most Charming paid a 0.40 mutuel and covered the seven furlongs in 1:28 over the fast track. Henry Wajda had the riding assignment and turned in a workmanlike performance to get the job done. It was another bright and sunny day as the fast-closing meeting nears its final program on Monday.
