CONDENSED HISTORY OF THE CLIPSETTA STAGES. The Clipsetta is one of the time-honored fixtures of the west. It was named after a fast filly and, since Eva S. first won it in 1SS3, has been contested by many subsequently noted fillies, such flyers as Wanda, Huntress, Flyaway, Ethel, Afamada, Rush, Endurance by Right and Lady Savoy having their names inscribed in its winning list, while such other swift ones as Mona, Wary, Princess P.owliug, Daisy F..
