HUNTING FOR A SWINDLER. New York, .Tune 13. On complaint of .7. L. Mc-Ginnis, the owner of Frank Gill and other good horses, the federal authorities are trying to run down a turf swindler who calls himself "John MeGinnis, bookmaker and turf commissioner." This fellow lias been tloodiug the country with circulars asking known patrons of the turf to send liim money to bet on the races. Some of J. L. MeGinnis friends received the circulars and mailed -them to him.
