Telescope, hard ridden all the way, forced a fast pace to the stretch and. passing Lacache, stood a hard drive gamely and won drawing away. Laeache was a forward contender from the start and but for being; in close quarters during the stretch run would have been closer up. Husted showed suddenly improved form and stayed well in the final drive. Lady Carol, poorly handled and taken wide most of the trip, can do better. Fenian ran a good race for him and finished gamely. Orlandwlck, away poorly and taken wide most of the trip, ran a bad race and can do much better. The winner was entered for 1907.sh00; no bid. Bucket Brigade began slowly ind had t go wide into the stretch, but finished with a rush and got up in the final stride for second place. Mackerel was shullied back soon after the start, had to go around the others on the stretch turn, moved up with a rush in the last furlong, but tired in the final strides. Envoy, away in a tangle, closed a big gap and finished with a game rush, was probably best at tin v. eights and ran a winning race. Cablegram showed the most early speed and was clear of interference, but tired in the last sixteenth. Princess Orna had a rough trip In the early stages, was sharply blocked off on flu-first turn, then went wide into the stretch and would have been tldrd in a few more strides. Knight f Ivanhoe ran a bad race and can do much better. Shawana showed the most early speed, but was excessively used in the early stages and tired. Proteus failed to show much speed.
