GRAND PRIX DE PARIS IS TO BE RUN TODAY. The most valuable race in the world for three-year-olds exclusively is the Grand Prix de Paris Grand Prize of Paris, which will be run at the Paris Summer Meeting in France today. The race is wortli to the winner approximately ?30,000, to the second horse goes ,000 and to the third ,000. This immense purse is subscribed by the City of Paris and . the five great railways. The distance of the race is one and seven-eighths miles. It is highly probable that as many as a half dozen American jockeys will have mounts in the race today, for Johnny Reiff, .Milton Henry, Winnie OConnor, Cor-mack, J. Ransch and Nash Turner are all under engagement for it. Information as to whether or not there will be a representative from England this year is not at hand, but It is not beyond the range of possibility that Danny Maher and perhaps Lucien Lyne will cross the channel to ride in the groat classic today. The horses most likely to start are: M. Ephrussis Mordant; M. Veil-Picards Biniou; M. De Monbels Bravo; M. Aumonts Pernod; M. Edmond Blancs Ouadi Haifa; M. Caillaults Kalisz; M. Desehanips Pitti; M. Deschamps Pollet; M. M. Ephrussis Ben; M. M. Ephrussis Glion; Duke de Gramonts Ping Pong; Couut de Saint-Phallos Convrefeu; M. J, Jouberts Catalpa; M. M. Marg-hjlomans Dihor. These horses all started in the French Derby, which was run at Chantilly Sunday, June 2. and was won by Mordant, ridden by Milton Henry. P.inioii, the favorite, was ridden by Cormack and finished second, while OConnor was third on Bravo. Thus the three money positions were taken by American jockeys.
