College Widow, from a Hying start, set the early pace and dropped back suddenly, but came again Tory fast in a superior effort. Heather Scott was a prominent and game contender throughout and only succumbed In the last couple of strides. Sir Wesley was galniug at the end. Sugarmaid helped force the pace and was headed on the last turn, but came again with a belated rush. Sanfara, away poorly, was seemingly never dangerous 1 and his race .should be thrown out. Lady Eikhorn was speedy and hard ridden ail the way ind was sharply bumped by the winner in the last sixteenth. Merry Blue ran well and also 1 suffered from the interference and but for this probably would have been second. Catherine F. finished gamely and close up. as also did William Ponn.
