Lotus Enter began slowly and sulked for over a half, then moved up, caught Bobbie Kean 011 the far turn and was a fast goiu:; second. Bobbie Kean ran well for three-quarters and quit under a pull. Feast was reserved to the stretch, then came fast, caught Lida B. tiring in the last furlong and outgamed her right at the end. Lida B. showed superior early speed, but tired under a drive. Inspector Purvis closed a big gap from a slow beginning and just nipped out Oroba in the last stride. The latter can do better. Guarda showed speed, but tired at the end. Factotum began slowly, trailed to the baekstretch. and finished with a great burst of speed. AVidows Mite was close up with the leaders, but tired at the end under punishment. Cobmosa ran poorly. Judge Deiiton was reserved in close attendance on the leaders to the stretch, then came fast and outstayed Neodesha in a game linish. The latter, off badly, saved ground all the way and ran a rattling good race. Clifton Forge finished fast and would have won in a few more strides. Fire Fang showed early speed, but tired in the stretch. Ossineke set the pace fast, but quit badly. Rust was never a factor in the running. Roll Weevil broke quickly, but could never improve her "position after being passed by the winner. Etta Louise is Hale and ran a dull race. The winner was entered for 2,000; no bid. Gilpin showed the most early speed, but dropped back before turning out of the backstretch, then came fast and rcsolutelv in the stretch and just got up. Ivanioe ran a good race and finished gamely, but tired in the last furlong. Headley was always close up anil finished fast, there being little to choose from among the iirst three. Monkey Puzzle was never a contender and ran a disappointing race. The winner was entered for 501; no bid. ....
