Maybcrrys six-year-old gelding Kingston, out of Belle of Maywood, is a spriuter great speed and better now than ever before, having won eight of his thirteen starts thiyear. Robin Hood was bred by James R. Keene Sl ran his first race in the name of F. P. Keene at Jamaica November 9, 1903, scoring a victory. He ran three I more races for trainer Rowe, finishing first once, placed once and outside tire money once. John E. Madden and Andrew Miller bought him the next spring and he raced in Maddens name for the first time at Morris Park May 5, 1904. He ran some good races during the meeting, appearing in the Belmont, Toboggan and Highweight for Age Handicap. S. W. Streett then acquired Robin Hood and brought him west, racing him at the local tracks. He passed I to IM ward Corrigan and ran a couple of races for him at Kansas City. J. P. Mayberry bought him the next spring and decided to race him only in sprints and the Kingston gelding has never neeu asked to go seven furlongs but three times since. His forte is six furlongs and a fast track. He is a good weight carrier. Robin Hood made the present track record for six furlongs at the Lexington track April 2S, 1900, when he defeated Foxmead in 1:13s. He-low is a tabulation of Ills races and amount of money won: Year.
