Won driving; second and third the same. 1iicle Henry had the best of the start, but was restrained early and, after going a half, moved up fast and into the lead on the stretch turn, but had to stand a hard drive to outstay Cull. The latter was ahvays prominent and ran well in the stretch, but tired slightly and could not get up. Dapple Gold was badly outrun in the early stages, but finished fast aud took third place in the closing strides. Cygnet tired after going three-quarters. Stroud had no mishaps. Land Breeze was taken wide on the first turn and failed to show much speed. The winner was entered for 1907.sh00; no bid. Scratched 7 1331 Lansilown, 105. Nellie Racine, showing sudden Improvement and gameness, finished fast through the stretch. Refined, in close quarters most of the way, came with a rush when clear. Hartlng had no mishaps and was a factor only in the first half. Ben Strong showed superior speed, but tired fast in the last quarter. Prytania was caught in a jam and lost his rider. Lexoline was kept uudcr. restraint for the first half and forced the pace thereafter, but tired slightly in the stretch. Carew, showing much speed,, set the pace for a mile before tiring. True Wing ran a good race, stood a hard drive gamclv and outstaved Ovelando in the final drive. Ovelando was prominent all the way. Lens ran poorly and failed to get fully in his stride until in the stretch run, where he came on with a rush. Hilgert was a distant trailer most of the way, but ran a fairly good race. The Clansman, from a slow beginning, gained steadily all the way - and finished fast and gnmelv. Charlatan appeared to be In close quarters for six furlongs, but moved up 7 fast in the stretch when clear and finished gamely. Merrick showed the most speed for three-quarters, 7 but tired fast in the stretch run. Warning ran a good race and came from a long way back. Bonebrake 71 loomed up a prominent factor on the stretch turn, but tired suddenly. Copperficld, under a bad ride, was 7 kept under choking restraint for a half, then tired in the stretch and pulled up slightly lame. The winner, 7 entered for $.00, was bid up to !0 by J.
