WILLIAMS STABLE AND FIRESTONE. Dr. II. E. Rowell, with the Williams horses en route for San Francisco, passed through Chicago Friday via Erie from the east and Northwestern and Union Pacific, west. The eastern stories that Firestone was to winter in the cast were not true. The Royal Flush III. Modreda colt was among the lot and will race in California all winter, as is natural. Thomas H. Williams himself will not leave New York in spite of New York reports until the end of next week.
