SIR MARTIN RUNS UNPLACED AT ASCOT. [ London. Eng.. June 16. — The Royal Hunt Cup was the chief feature of todays racing at Ascot Heath. Sir Martin, the American horse that rau as favorite in tlie Derby, was among the twenty-three starters, but he failed to get a place. Harry Payne Whitneys Perseus III., also ran unplaced. Summary of the race: Ascot Royal Hunt Cup handicap, plate of value of 300 sovereigns, with 1.500 sovereigns ill specie added to a sweepstakes of 20 sovereigns each, for three-year-olds and upward; distance seven furlongs and 166 yards — A.
