TEXAS ANTI-RACING LAW TO BE TESTED. Dallas. Tex.. June 16. — Preparations are being quietly made by prominent Tcxans who are. interested in the welfare of the turf, to bring about a test in the corn-Is of the Sloan anti-betting law which went into effect in this state last Saturday. Racing men have been advised that there is a good chance that the law will not stand the test. If the law fails to hold good, it is understood that there will be a reorganization of the racing associations and an attempt will be made to give the more isipulous Texas communities race meetings of higher class than heretofore.
