ALFRED NOBLE POINTING FOR SUBURBAN. Hew York. June lti. — Peter Wimnier is convinced thai Alfred Noble will carry bis speed over a considerable distance of ground, and is pointing the Oarrv Hermann gelding for the Suburban Handicap. Alfred Noble was a sore disappointment to Charles L. Harrison last reason. He had made better than merely a fair reputation as a two-year-old. and Mr. Harrison had every reason to expect that be might train into a good long distance running three-year-•old. But Mr. Wiiumer says the big horse had I igood excuse for his failures last year. Throughout the earlv spring he was ailing, yet he was trained Hteadilv for such races as the Tidal and the Law rencc Realization. At Sheepshead Bay. when it he-oaine evident that Alfred Noble would not do. Mr. Wimmci took him to Captain W. Harry Browns Scnorita Farm in Kentucky and turned him out. The big horse was gelded late in the fall antl since Mr. Wimuiers return from Kentucky, he has done :as well as the most exacting horseman could ask. ile has not had a day of sickness, he has shown ttpced in his trial gallops and he has not missed a Iced. __
