JAMES GAFFNEY BUYS LOUISE S. New York, July 19. James Gaffney has purchased the two-year-old chestnut tilly. Louise S.. by The Commoner Mary Agnes, from Walter Grater and the latter will at once return west to take up his yearlings in Kentucky. He has a goodly number of young horses and lie expects to ship the best of them rust next season If they show anything at Churchill Downs In the spring. Louise S. was bred by Walter O. Parmer at the F.denwold Stud in Tennessee and. like most of the sons and daughters of The Commoner, she is a well-built miss of rugged conformation. The winning of the Clipsetta Stakes at Latonia is her most important achievement to date.
