Bobbie Kean ran into quick nearest pursuit and held the others safe throughout. Queen Marguerite, from a slow start and shuflled rearward early, closed up with a belated stretch rush and is good. Jennie Wells ran forwardly and persistently tlitoughout. fireball, away poorly, moved into quick prominence, but tired badly in the stretch. Tom Mc-.rath closed a big gap from a poor start. Nethermost steadily improved his position and actually headed the leader midway of the mi etch, but tired at the end. Krikina was prominent throughout in deep inside going and Is extra promising. Bryce. outpaced early, finished well. Bandello ran well up throughout. Danger, nearly left, closed 11 gap under an inadequate ride. Prince Ahmed, from a slow inside start, was frequently shut off and pocketed and was also In the deep inside going and could never get up. Dr. Barkley, from a slow beginning, met interference on the first turn and loomed up menacingly on the far turn, but was shut off again and quit badly in the closing drive.
