FINANCIAL SIDE AT SARATOGA. Saratoga. N. Y.. August 17. The directors of the Saratoga Racing Association, in view of reports that the present race meeting at the Sim will be run at a loss financially, have made a statement that the paid admissions hud the revenues from other sources have more than paid expenses to date. The Owners and Breeders Fund will help the association to make good the value of some of the richest stakes. The average daily attendance, with the free list practically suspended, has fully come up to expectations. Because of the liberality of the Saratoga Racing Association in providing twenty-four consecutive days of sMrt for horsemen, patrons of the turf are especially anxious to see the Spa meeting crowned with success.
