TROUBLES OF TRAINER BURCH. Saratoga. N. Y.. August 17. Preston Rureh has been disappointed here at Saratoga by the Chelsea Stables two-year-old. Lothario, which seems to have lost the dash that marked his work earlier in the season. Lothario was a sick colt in the spring, and it is possible that the malady which prevented him from filling important early engagements may have left its aftermath. Scarpla, the Broomstick colt with which Burcli won a race at Sheepshead Bay, has not been successful at Saratoga because he has au unsatisfactory way of pulling up lame.
